ADMISSION
Applications for admission to 100 B.Ed. seats are issued by the college every year during the month of June – July.
The institution has admission committees including management representative, principal, teachers and non teaching staff to verify and maintain the record of relevant information and documents regarding the admission based on the admission policy of Government of Tamil Nadu and the norms of Tamil Nadu Teachers Education University, Chennai. Thus the institution monitors admission procedures to ensure that the determined admission criteria are equitably applied to all applicants those who are applying.
The candidates with the following marks(which is subject to the decision of Government of Tamilnadu from time to time) in the Bachelor's Degree are eligible for admission to the course other than subjects like Economics, Commerce for which PG qualification is mandatory.
OC - 50%
BC - 45%
MBC/DNC - 43%
SC/ST - 40%
Post graduate candidates in Economics, Commerce with 50%(irrespective of their UG mark) of marks in PG Degree or in the interdisciplinary subjects which are being declared equivalent by the respective University/ Equivalence Committee can apply.
However, the basis of selection shall be in accordance with the Regulations of the University/ Government of Tamil Nadu Guidelines for admission to B.Ed course in force from time to time.
The course of study shall be for duration of Two academic years.
